How to get To Torres del Paine from Santiago, Chile
- First Step: Santiago to Punta Arenas..
You can get to Torres del Paine by plane, bus or car. From Santiago there are about 3100 kilometres to Punta Arenas. The flight is about 4,15 h. We recommend you to connect with the Regular Bus from the airport of Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales and then take the bus to Torres del Paine, you must ask this service to the Bus line company (www.busfernandez.com or www.busespacheco.com) - Second step: Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales..
We recommend you take a bus, verifying first the schedule directly with the Bus Company (254 Km / type of road/Paved). There are about 10 daily frequencies. - Third step: Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine..
There are just 112 Km. between Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine National Park. You may arrive by Bus or vehicle, there are 2 routes to go to the Park (by car), one of them is 100% unpaved road and the other one and most popular 50% unpaved road and 50% paved.
How to get to Torres del Paine by Bus from Puerto Natales
Between the 1st of November and March 31st there are two daily frequencies. During mid September, October and April there is only one frequency per day at 7:30 AM (*confirm first departure date).

How to arrive by Car to Torres del Paine
There are to routes to go to the Park:
- The first option is to take the north exit from the city, straight through the paved road to Cerro Castillo, about 54 Km from Puerto Natales. After the crossing point (in Cerro Castillo) you must turn left (through un paved road) until the entrance to the Park (Portería Laguna Amarga).
- The second option is also taking the north exit from the city, then about 23 Km from Puerto Natales, you turn left taking the unpaved road, and after 1,15 hours you will be arriving to the western entrance to the Park “Portería Río Serrano”. This route also takes you to la “Cueva del Milodón” about 30 minutes from Puerto Natales.
