Exploring the Chilean Fjörds
Aboard the M/N Atmosphere

(8 days / 7 nights)

This itinerary offers to our guests unparalleled levels of personalized service in an area honored by many as the world's ultimate fly fishing and ecotourism destination. This is a carefully designed one-week extreme fly fishing adventure and expedition cruise program, created for a very limited amount of guests, all of which can securely fulfill their highest expectations while traveling aboard the luxury M/V Atmosphere, specifically designed for the area. This ship accommodates a maximum of 18 fishing and 10 non-fishing participants. Everyday our guests wake up in a spectacular new setting; you will head off on a jet boat, zodiac or helicopter, ready to make the most of the day's program.

It's a fantastic experience and I don't know of anything quite like it in terms of variety and quality of freshwater fly fishing for trout. The ship is operated by an outstanding organization, as good a set up as I've seen in any kind of adventure travel operation in the last 30 years. The ship, officially the MN Atmosphere, but more often called just "Nomads", was the nicest small, expedition ship I've been on. I have never seen anything quite like it.

The Atmosphere accommodates a maximum of 18 fishing guests and 10 non-fishing guests for each trip. With the capability of self-carrying one of the most spectacular air-water transportation systems known to date, we cover de deepest areas of Patagonia by air, land and water. The Atmosphere has a steel hull, twin engines and twin propellers with variable pitch to be able to manoeuvre easily no matter the current or sea conditions. Also providing the ability to deploy the jet boats or Bell 407 helicopter. It is reliable vessel possessing unique characteristics that provide comfort to our guests. Among them we must point out our spectacular cabins and a Spa service that pampers the guests like no other. Like if this wasn't enough, the Atmosphere has developed a Chilean Cuisine menu that includes typical dishes in a modern and fresh way.

Our sailing journey through gentle fjords and channels in which ancient native aborigines and famous explorers navigated in the past, provides delightful and untouched natural parks and reserves, unique and spectacular flora and fauna, as well as breathtaking views of the Andes Mountain Range, which here softly plunge into the Pacific Ocean. Everyday our guests wake up in a spectacular new setting, having all the needed flexibility to deal with constantly changing weather and fishing conditions.

Each daily exploratory fly-fishing and ecotourism journey grants participants the very best professional guided service and safety-precaution standards.

We have designed special outings for our non-fishing guests: sighting wide variety of dolphins and elusive giant whales in our specialized rigid inflatable boats, bird watching, spotting and identifying native and endemic flora and fauna throughout the wilderness. In fact, memorable experiences interacting with biodiversity, wild nature, glaciers, hot springs, geography and history are highlights of this one-on-a-lifetime experience. It is not by chance that Charles Darwin and Captain Fitz Roy wrote long notes regarding the beauty and uniqueness of this part of the world in their logs. Our guests will also have all our on board activities such as our daily wine tasting program, gourmet regional cuisine, Thalasoterapy and SPA, specialized lectures and more.
